Privacy Policy for Alexa VPN

This policy explains how Alexa VPN, operated by Lumen Apps, protects your privacy, what limited information may be processed, and how our strict no-logs approach works.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

1. Introduction and Privacy Commitment

Welcome to Alexa VPN. At Alexa VPN, operated by Lumen Apps, your digital privacy and security are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and process information when you use our Android application and related services.

By downloading, installing, or using Alexa VPN, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Strict No-Logs Policy

Alexa VPN is designed to protect your privacy. We do not monitor, collect, store, sell, or share data that identifies what you do inside the encrypted VPN tunnel.

  • Browsing history
  • Websites visited
  • DNS queries
  • VPN traffic content
  • Downloaded files
  • Messages sent through VPN
  • Destination IP addresses
  • Original IP linked to browsing activity

Because we do not store this activity data, we cannot provide it to third parties.

3. Information We May Collect

To operate and improve Alexa VPN, we may process limited information that is necessary for service reliability, diagnostics, support, advertising, and app functionality.

Device InformationDevice model, manufacturer, Android version, app version, language settings, screen resolution, and non-precise country or region.
Diagnostic InformationCrash reports, error logs, performance statistics, connection success or failure events, and anonymous usage analytics.
Support InformationInformation you voluntarily provide when contacting us, such as your email address and message content.
Advertising InformationGoogle Advertising ID, ad interaction information, and identifiers permitted under Google Play policies, if ads are used.

Diagnostic and technical data does not include your browsing history or VPN traffic content.

4. Android VPN Service Disclosure

Alexa VPN uses Android's VpnService API. This API is essential for creating a secure, device-level encrypted tunnel between your device and our VPN servers.

The VPN connection is activated only after you initiate the connection and provide consent through the app interface. Alexa VPN does not use the VPN Service API to monitor browsing activity, record visited websites, track online behavior, or collect VPN traffic content.

5. How We Use Information

The limited information we process may be used to provide VPN functionality, manage server capacity, maintain network stability, troubleshoot technical issues, improve app performance, fix bugs, respond to support requests, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect our infrastructure.

If subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, payment processing is handled through Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect full payment card details.

6. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for operational, security, support, and legal purposes. Diagnostic data may be retained for a limited period to troubleshoot and improve the service. Support communications may be retained for up to 24 months. Anonymous analytics may be retained in aggregated form.

VPN browsing activity and VPN traffic content are never stored.

7. Third-Party Services

Alexa VPN may use trusted third-party providers for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, hosting, payment processing, and customer support. These providers may include services such as Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics, depending on the app implementation.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and are not permitted by us to use diagnostic data to monitor your VPN browsing activity.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted communications, secure VPN protocols, access controls, and security monitoring. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect our systems and users responsibly.

9. Children's Privacy

Alexa VPN is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Alexa VPN after updates means you accept the revised policy.
